Idaho Home Learning Academy
The Idaho Home Learning Academy (IHLA) is an accredited public school serving K-8 students from across the state of Idaho. IHLA provides students with access to a quality online educational curriculum, individualized support from Idaho Certified teachers, and the opportunity to customize curriculum to meet the specific needs of each student. IHLA recognizes each child has different capacities, interests, and passions. We understand that students flourish when education is individualized to their unique needs. Website can be found here.
Accredited Transcripts
Partnering with IHLA ensures that all of our students receive a transcript from an accredited school while attending The Hive.
State Testing
Partnering with IHLA requires students to participate in Idaho state testing. Students can test at home on their own devices. This allows The Hive, IHLA and parents learn how their student is performing compared to other students in the state of Idaho and where additional support may be needed.
Middle School
Sport Options
Middle school students who are interested in playing sports at their "home" middle school are able to do so. This allows students to challenge themselves athletically and participate in the sports community where they live.
Support
-Online platforms: IHLA provides each student and parent with an online platform that is utilized for the hybrid day to support The Hive learning goals and targets.
-Field Trips: IHLA provides two field trips a month that are linked to educational learning and support student socialization.
-Learning Support: IHLA provides additional teachers, learning groups, and intervention if your student would like to access it.
-Funds: IHLA provides learning funds per student to be used to support The Hive and learning goals.
