Schedule
PreK -6th grade will be offered on a three (Tues-Thurs) or two day schedule (Tues & Thurs) from 8am-noon.
A monthly field trip will be held on Monday a month and is optional.

Curriculum
The Hive will be using the Good and The Beautiful Curriculum. This will need to be purchased by the family and brought to school with the student.

Grade Set Up
Students will be grouped into Kinder-2nd grade or 3rd-6th grade. At The Hive, we believe the strength of a homeschool hybrid is socialization, collaboration and serving one another. This is best achieved in a combo class model. It is our intention to grow The Hive by adding an additional grade level each year until reaching the 8th grade level.
Art
At The Hive, we will incorporate art into our core curriculum through enrichment activities. Students will be given time to be creative, to express themselves and to share their talents with others in their class.
Movement
Move, dance, and stay active while learning. We firmly believe that students do best when they are given opportunities to learn through a mixture of an un-school approach combined with some traditional learning strategies.
English Language Arts
Immerse yourself in language and culture through our ELA curriculum.
Mathematics
Engage in the world of numbers and problem-solving with our mathematics curriculum. Our interactive and practical approach to math cultivates critical thinking and mathematical proficiency in a supportive learning environment.
Outside Play
Play is a fundamental piece of a well-rounded education. At The Hive, we will have unstructured play time for students to socialize, explore their classroom and outdoor area and learn through hands on play.
